Made in the USA (And I Mean It)

Made in the USA (And I Mean It)

These days, "Made in the USA" can mean a lot of different things. Sometimes a product is assembled here after traveling halfway around the world. Sometimes only the final step happens stateside. That's not how we do things.

Every Vanity & Co. piece is designed by my team in Boston and handcrafted in New Jersey by a local manufacturer that has been building furniture for generations. These are the same craftspeople and partners we trust for our own interior design clients. We chose them because they share our standards for quality, attention to detail, and doing things the right way - not the fastest way.

We use real oak with beautiful natural grain, unlacquered brass that develops character over time, and finishes and colors that are thoughtfully developed to work seamlessly with the homes we design every day. Our vanities aren't inspired by our interiors; they're built from the very same design language.

The same is true of our Bathroom Design Service. When you purchase a design package, you're working directly with my team. The same designers who specify materials, solve layouts, and obsess over details for our full-service residential clients. We approach every bathroom with the same care, whether it's a single vanity or an entire home.

There are practical benefits to building everything here, too. Domestic production means predictable lead times, consistent quality, and the ability to stand behind what we make. You're investing in better materials and craftsmanship vs. paying for overseas freight, import tariffs, or the uncertainty that often comes with global supply chains. When something needs attention, it's a quick conversation with our team, not months of waiting for a shipment to cross an ocean.

As designers, we know that reliability matters just as much as beauty. We want you to know what you're getting, when it's arriving, and that it will live up to your expectations.

We've also been intentional about the brands we carry beyond our own collection. The vendors we partner with are companies we know personally, whose products we specify in our projects because we genuinely believe in their quality and craftsmanship. Supporting thoughtful, often family-owned American businesses isn't just part of our business model, it's part of our values.

Made in the USA isn't a marketing slogan for us. It's a reflection of how we design, who we choose to work with, and what we believe is worth investing in.

Designed in Boston. Handcrafted in New Jersey. Charming, as always.
