A Love Letter to Schumacher

A Love Letter to Schumacher

As a full time designer, I use multiple fabric and wallpaper lines every day, and each one is special and has its own design point of view.

Some are multinational lines, some independent boutiques, some European, and they are all different.

A lot of things can go wrong when ordering textiles and wallpaper, from dye lot irregularities to damage or defect, poor performance, and I need to stay prepared to stand by my choices but always advocate for my client.

No matter how lovely the product is, the clincher for me is service.  Is the stuff available, and can you get it quickly?  Do the showrooms respond?  How are they with problems?  Do they make resolution easy?  What if you need alternates- are there many choices that meet your needs in your price range that can be substituted and presented to a client?

Is the selection fresh but also timeless and classic?  Are there iconic designs?  These are all questions I ask when choosing one vendor over another.

In the end, the company that crushes the service game is Schumacher for me.  They have the widest selection, regular new drops, and the absolute best client service in the industry.
