The things we do in the bathroom….
It is just as important to have the right lighting in your bathroom as in any other functional space like a kitchen or office. You are performing hygiene routines, putting on products, primping and getting dressed- you obviously need the right lights. Overhead cans are a necessary evil in bathrooms, but limit them to the least possible. If you have space, opt for a flush mount in the middle of the room, or even centered over the tub if code allows. Stick with sconces, down lighting, even tubular lights, that will illuminate your mirror and allow you to see what you're doing. Shaded sconces are super lovely, but the best light is the more functional ones. Below I’ve picked some of my go to’s as well as some other essentials.
